About
Chapter F, the Fun & Friendship Riders of Federal Way, Washington, are second to none to having FUN! We formed in October, 2015 and while that sounds like we’re brand new to the organization, we have come a long way from a previous chapter. Our reputation precedes us as one of the most fun and active chapters within the GWTA organization and that keeps going strong!
We base the continued and increasing success on what we believe are GWTA values and passions, which we have stated below.
Our passions are: 1) Riding our motorcycles; 2) Having fun, and 3) Eating ice cream. This order can be changed depending on the situation! Within our chapter, we have members who ride Harleys, Kawasaki, Moto Guzzi, BMW, and yes… the occasional Goldwing. The point being… ALL bikes are welcome and appreciated!! You will find all riding styles within the group. Long distance, short distance, go get ‘ems, flower sniffers, and some who just like to polish their bikes and stare at them. No matter what your riding style, we have someone who will love riding with you.
You might be thinking ‘I can enjoy riding alone, why do I need GWTA?’ The answer is you don’t. However, as our many thousands of members will tell you, riding is much more enjoyable with friends. We can introduce you to a lot of touring enthusiasts. That’s our function, to bring people together who enjoy motorcycling. We offer our members a wide variety of activities both on and off the motorcycle all year long.
Activities are planned such as long and short rides, camping or motel weekends, fun runs, holiday get-togethers, neighboring chapter visitations, and much more. During the off-season, there are soup socials, movie days, and just getting together to visit. And of course, there is a social meeting every month where we will keep you posted of upcoming events and items of interest. There is no requirement to attend any event. Just pick the ones that may interest you and work within your schedule and enjoy yourself. But as with anything, you get out of the club as much as you put in.
