During opening
ceremonies, Camp Wing Tyme participants were given a
blow by blow description of the misadventures of
the Keenons (Bruce and Linda) and the Manrys (Tony
and Diane) our GWTA Executive and National Events
Directors. Their trip to Angel's Camp was filled
with interesting challenges. Well, the trip home
on borrowed bikes was off to a great start also. In
the photo on the right, Bruce is explaining why their
only bike key is safely locked in
the trunk, while eager helpers try to figure out how
to open the "Key-none's" trunk.

could possibly go wrong next. Right: Joanne
Davis consoling Mr. "Key-none" as he leans on a
sign explaining his fate if he's unable to move
the bike soon. A sympathetic crowd has gathered to
assure him they will be there with him to the
end. After all, we are family. Linda, Vince, Waf,

about whether or not to follow the Key-nones and

Through a
membership group effort, the trunk was opened using
a carefully bent and strategically located coat
hanger. Bruce and Linda (now called Key-one),
and
sidekicks Tony and Diane, headed for home.
Helping them
through this ordeal was the least we could do as
thanks for
all the work they put into another great gathering.
Ride safe you guys and do a pat-down before closing
that trunk from now on. |
